Terms and Conditions
The Association of Masonic Webmasters (hereafter "the Association") set out the following Terms and Conditions (hereafter "the Terms") for use in conjunction with their website at www.masonicwebmasters.org (hereafter "the site").
We've written these terms in English, not 'legalese' as far as possible. If you want to take us to court over a tiny point of law, go ahead - we don't have any money.
All Web site design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, underlying source code, software (including applets) and all other material on this Web site, except where acknowledged as below, are copyright the Association of Masonic Webmasters OR their content and technology providers.
Wherever possible, the source of all materials will be specifically identified, with a link to that source and an acknowledgement.
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
Any use of materials on this Web site - including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication - without the prior written permission of the Association is strictly prohibited except where specifically noted otherwise.
We acknowledge the copyright and ownership of all authors and providers of articles, code and images used on this site with their permission.
Anyone who believes their copyright has been violated and requires content to be removed from the site should contact the Secretary with full details of the offending content and proof of ownership. After appropriate investigation, any content identified as being incorrectly posted on the site will be removed. The Association will do so as soon as practicable, but cannot be held responsible for any loss occasioned by any delay in doing so.
Submission of Articles for the Site
Authors of articles submitted for use on the site acknowledge that they submit those articles without charge and authorise the Association to use the article(s) free of charge and confirm that they have not included work in those articles which is the copyright of other authors without the permission of those other authors and have included acknowledgement of the rights of those other authors as appropriate.
The copyright of authors of articles submitted for use is acknowledged and reserved for those authors (as above) except where specifically transferred to the Association in writing.
The Association expresses its sincere gratitude to all submitting authors for their contributions.
The Association reserves the right to post and/or remove articles at its discretion.
Authors of articles may request that articles written by them and submitted and/or posted to the site should be removed. The Association will do so as soon as practicable, but cannot be held responsible for any loss occasioned by any delay in doing so.
The Association will track the domains from which people visit the site and analyse this data for trends and statistics.
The Associations site contains links to other websites. The Association is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of any linked website outside its ownership nor the content. If any such link offends in any way, please email the Secretary, who will investigate and deal with the issue appropriately.
To secure site integrity, the Association employs reasonable security measures and procedures. Internal access to users' private and non-public personal information is restricted to site administrators and individuals on a need-to-know basis.
The Association employs the use of cookies strictly to enhance the use and performance of the site. The cookies we use are not employed to track the web-usage of any visitor. We cannot control the use of cookies on any site that may be linked to from this site.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We recognise the importance of privacy to visitors and will keep this policy under review and any changes made from time to time will be posted on this website.
These conditions are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with English Law and any disputes relating to these conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Except as specifically stated on this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Association nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this Web site or the information, content, materials or products included on this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
